How to Wear the Bold Lips

I Love bold lips, awsome for any season.. but wearing a bold lip does come with rules, yes rules lol

Bold lip = no heavy eye makeup, some mascara & winged eyeliner is as far as u should go, because all the attention is going to be on your lips anyways so you dont need heavy eye makeup :)

From matte to high-gloss finishes and blood orange to deep purple shades, there's a must-have lip for every woman.

Balayage????

What is Balayage?
Balayage is a hair coloring technique which is designed to create very natural-looking highlights which grow out without developing a noticeable and obvious root.
When hair is colored with the balayage process, the highlights are painted on by hand in a sweeping motion which moves from the base to the tip of the hair. At the base, the color is applied very lightly, while at the tip, the color is very heavy. The result is a chunky highlight which looks naturally sunbleached, and as the hair grows out, the root will be concealed for the first few months by the thinner color applied to the base of the hair.

Performing balayage is time consuming, and it requires a good eye and a very steady hand. However, many people feel that the end result is worth it. Unlike foiled highlights, which look very uniform and a bit unnatural, hair which has been subjected to balayage simply looks like it has been out in the sun. The highlights can be subtle or more intense, balayge isn't just for blondes: it can also be applied to brunette and red hair.

The Top Knot Trend :)

The Top Knot
Popular on the street in 2009, the top knot conveys a young and playful look. In 2010 topknots are best in two forms: the sleek and the messy top knot.
  • Sleek top knots are tidy buns that sit right at the top of the head, like those seen at Marc Jacobs and Nina Ricci for Spring 2010
  • Sleek top knots best sit dead centre of the head, but can also work slightly off to the side
  • These types of topknots work best on straight hair
  • Hair should be neatly brushed upward and slicked into place; then the top knot twisted around neatly and fastened
  • The sleek top knot works well in an elegant ballerina-esque ribbon or some embellished clips.
Vanessa Hudgens look is a Perfect Example..One Messy Top Knot & One Sleek <3

    Jumpsuits & Playsuits
This trend is everywhere this Spring, & being from Australia spring has just began. im loving this look, personally i think it will suit all types of body shapes & sizes, theres 3/4 jumpsuits, pants, shorts & short shorts, super cute & can be sexy at the same time, dress them up with heels & shiny accessories to wear on a nite out, or dress them down with a pair of flats or white canvas shoes & some chunky accessories, they come on foral patterns, bright colours, frilled, plain & no matter the style they super cute.
definetly looking forward to wearing one this spring. <3

    My Top 3 Mascaras.

    1. Max Factors 2000 Calorie
I love this Mascara its my all time fave, that i always go back to.
makes my lashes thick, full & lengthens.Totally recommend this mascara i hope they never discontinue it. i give it 5 stars :)

    2. Maybelline Colossal
This Mascara got good & bad reviews, personally i love this mascara but i think it would work better for those who have long or thick lashes natually. it has a wet formula, it lengthens & thickens without clumping, but you have to apply like 3 coats to get a good result.

    3. Rimmel Sexy Curves.
With a oddly shaped mascara wand, which is kinda cute,
this mascara is really good, it gets every lash, & it awsome on    bottom & outa corner lashes, doesnt thicken as much, unless you apply alot of coats, but definetly lengthens & seperates perfect for that natural summery. not over done look.

    Winged Eyeliner :)

    No...not Amy Winehouse winged eyeliner..haha
more like Angelina Jolie, Drew Barrymore, Lauren Conrad & other cool celebs, i love this look, you might think its hard but just like everything practice makes perfect.

heres some steps to follow to achive the perfect winged eyeliner :)

    1. Start by simply lining your upper eyelid with a thin line from one corner of the eye to the other. Make the line as close to the lashes as possible.
2.Use your bottom lash line as a guide for your wing, follow the bottom lash line from the inner corner to the outer corner, once uve reached the outer corner draw a line going upwards all the way upto your eye socket.
    3. Connect that line to your upper lashline, to the line you created in step 1, to form a triangle shape, and then fill in the triangle.
    4. If you make any mistakes, breathe easy & dont worry there is a easy fix soloution, put some foundation on a Qtip & clean it up.

& Remember Practice makes Perfect. :)

Products you can use, Mac Fluidline & angle brush, Felt tip Liquid Liners (felt tip makes it easier) or black eyeliner pencil (thats sharpend).  <3
